Alps Ltd needed a complete creative overhaul to match the ambition of the business. I redesigned their website from the ground up, build and ran their email marketing, grew their social media presence, and introduced video content and webinars to the company for the first time.

About Alps

Alps Ltd is an insurance add-ons and support provider based in Congleton, Cheshire, with over 25 years of experience in the industry. They work with insurance brokers across the UK, offering products like motor legal expenses, breakdown cover, GAP insurance, and landlord protection. Their award-winning legal and claims teams sit in-house, and everything is powered by their own broker platform, Communic8.

The challenge

Alps had grown significantly, but their online presence hadn’t kept up. The website was outdated and didn’t reflect the quality of their products or their position in the market. Email campaigns lacked consistency, social media had stalled, and there was no video content at all.

They needed someone who could take ownership of the full creative output, from the website right through to how they communicated with brokers week to week.

That’s where I came in, growing from the claims team to heading all marketing and content for the company as their Content Creator / Marketing Lead.

A full creative transformation, from website to webinars

I took on the entire creative function at Alps, handling everything from brand visuals to campaign delivery. Here’s what that looked like in practice.

Website redesign & launch

The biggest single project was a complete redesign of alpsltd.co.uk. This wasn’t a reskin – it was a full rebuild. I designed every element on the site, including all custom graphics, iconography, UI elements, photography, and video content. The layout was built around driving conversions and feeding directly into their lead capture workflows.

Email campaigns

I managed Alps’ email marketing end to end, sending one crafted campaign per week covering everything from product launches and webinar invitations to compliance alerts and PR announcements.

The results spoke for themselves:

  • Average open rate: 32%
  • Average open-to-click-through rate: 28%

Every campaign followed a structured process, from briefing and subject line testing through to visual design, cross-device QA, CRM segmentation, and post-send analytics reporting.

Social media & video

I grew Alps’ social following from 1,500 to 2,600 and brought real consistency across their website, social channels, email, and video content for the first time.

Video was something Alps had never done before. I made the case for it, then built a small in-house studio and used my own gear to film, edit, and publish all video content.

Webinars

I launched and ran Alps’ entire webinar programme, handling everything from strategy and speaker outreach to live production with multi-camera switching. Each webinar was promoted through targeted email and social campaigns, with unique tracking links to measure where sign-ups came from.

The numbers were strong:

  • Peak attendance: 221
  • Average sign-up to attendance rate: 89%
  • 6 webinars hosted, featuring expert guest speakers from across the insurance industry

After each session, I ran post-webinar follow-up flows to capture feedback and build momentum for the next event.
